Worm castings which stimulate the soil life

Mega Worm is a natural soil improver based on composted plant remains, composted using worms. It creates optimum balance in the soil so the plant can grow and flower profusely. Mega Worm has a very high organic content: it contains a quantity of trace elements, enzymes and minerals like Mycorrhiza and Trichoderma, which protect and feed the plant.

Frequently asked questions about Mega Worm
No, that's not necessary. Supermix already contains Mega Worm (worm castings).
Yes and no. Mega Worm contains hardly any directly absorbable nutrients, but it does have a lot of micro-organisms. They can convert organic components in your soil into the plant absorbable fertilisers. This forms many high quality nutritional elements such as vitamins, antioxidants and enzymes. They nourish and stimulate plant growth.
There's no reason to do so. All Plagron potting soils, except Lightmix, already contain Mega Worm. It only makes sense to mix it with re-used soil, or with garden soil if you grow outdoors.
Yes, Mega Worm and Bat Guano can be used to upgrade your soil. You can decide the ratio yourself so you can influence the taste and smell of the end product. Would you like some help determining this ratio? We advise you use the following ratio for a good taste and smell. Mega Worm: 10% - 20% Bat Guano: 2.5% - 5%. Don't forget to use Calcium Kick to upgrade the soil. Dose at a rate of 2.5 to 5 kg/1000 litres of potting soil. Calcium Kick restores the pH level of the soil after growing so the plants can re-absorb all the necessary nutrients.
The worms are removed from Mega Worm with a sieve so they can decompose and convert a new batch of organic material. The survival chance of worms during transport, and during growing in pots, is also very low.
