Power Roots

Promotes root growth and boosts resistance

Power Roots is a root-strengthening additive consisting of humic acids, seaweed extracts, various vitamins and hydrolysed proteins. These different ingredients all have their own specific function. The humic acids create more branching in the root system and thicker root hairs. This increases nutrient absorption. The seaweed extract contains essential plant metabolites, which improve soil structure and root architecture. The vitamins, in turn, ensure that the right process is initiated for improved root growth.

NEW FORMULA

Does your Power Roots smell like herbs? You might have a new batch! The herbal smell is a side effect of its new recipe, which increases the amount of roots and the speed at which they form.

The hydrolysed proteins in Power Roots optimise the growth of your plant's roots. The proteins contribute to seedling development, lateral root formation and tolerance to abiotic stress.

The ingredients in Power Roots cause the plant to grow longer roots, as well as more root hairs. This increases the total surface area of roots, allowing the root system to function at its best.

The combination of substances in Power Roots improves soil structure. They contribute to improved water retention and promote the growth of beneficial soil microbes.

FAQ

You ideally want the plant to develop enough roots early in the flowering phase, so the plant can utilize its energy to produce flowers. Stop giving Power Roots after the third week of flowering.

Yes, Power Roots has a strong herbal smell since the updated recipe. This has no negative effect on your plants.

No, this is normal and is not harmful for your plants. This is caused by the organic ingredients in Power Roots. After the product has been dissolved in water, a natural bacterial process starts after a while. This causes the smell and can make your solution look cloudy. This does not have any adverse effects on your plants. If you have any questions about this, please contact us at servicedesk@plagron.com.

The main difference is that Power Roots contains organic elements, therefore it is less suited for use in an irrigation system. We’ve developed Hydro Roots, which is strictly mineral, so it won’t cause any problems in your (circulated) irrigation system. In conclusion, Power Roots is better suited for hand feeding and Hydro Roots is better suited for system feeding. If you insist you can still use Power Roots in a system, but make sure to clean it regularly.
